From the perspective of our Pack leader, Candice Gerard...

"For over three decades, I built my career in the title and escrow industry while also being a founding member of multiple startups, always working at the intersection of technology and software. I thrived in problem-solving, process optimization, and developing systems that made complex transactions more efficient. But deep down, I always knew my passion lay in something bigger: creating immersive, thought-provoking experiences that challenge the way people think.

I’ve been an avid gamer since I first laid hands on an Atari in the ‘70s, and my love for gaming has only grown with each new generation and genre. For years, a story had been bouncing around in my mind — one that blended history, science, and human resilience. In 2019, I decided to stop just thinking about it and start learning what it truly takes to make a game. I dove into classes, absorbing everything I could about game design and development. By 2021, I knew I couldn’t bring this vision to life alone, but I wasn’t sure of the path forward or how to find the right people to help.

Then, in 2024, I was introduced to the concept of volunteer studios, and everything clicked. I started building, and thank the powers that be, I found three talented and motivated partners in leadership — people who share the passion and dedication needed to turn this vision into reality. Together, we’ve laid the foundation for WolfPack Game Design, where we’re creating World Soul — not just as a game, but as an experience that leaves a lasting impact."
